Join the Work Crew; Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal Nature Preserve

Itching to get your hands dirty and really connect with the land? Discover the rewarding feel of restoration work in the field! Join the upcoming work party and help with invasive species removal! The day will include hand-pulling garlic mustard, bagging it and removing it from the site. Volunteers will also get to spend time on the shore and while helping to clean-up the beach and on the trails for some maintenance. People should dress for the weather and walking on uneven terrain (at least sturdy shoes and long pants). The Land Trust will bring all necessary supplies and equipment and of course our finest granola bars. Hope to see you there!
