The Twelve Hikes of Christmas is our holiday celebration, encouraging you to get outside and see what your favorite nature preserves have to show you this season. For the twelve days leading up to Christmas we will share a new winter wildlife photo and coloring book page for free download.

The Twelve Hikes of Christmas

On the first hike of Christmas, the Land Trust showed to me a porcupine in a pear tree.

 

 

On the second hike of Christmas, the Land Trust showed to me, two mother does, and a porcupine in a pear tree.

 

 

On the third hike of Christmas, the Land Trust showed to me three furry foxes, two mother does, and a porcupine in a pear tree.

On the fourth hike of Christmas, the Land Trust showed to me four calling birds, three furry foxes, two mother does, and a porcupine in  a pear tree.

 


On the fifth hike of Christmas, the Land Trust showed to me five bushy squirrels, four calling birds, three furry foxes, two mother does, and a porcupine in  a pear tree.


On the sixth hike of Christmas, the Land Trust showed to me six Cedar Waxwing, five bushy squirrels, four calling birds, three furry foxes, two mother does, and a porcupine in  a pear tree.

 

On the seventh hike of Christmas, the Land Trust showed to me seven otters swimming, six Cedar Waxwing, five bushy squirrels, four calling birds, three furry foxes, two mother does, and a porcupine in  a pear tree.

 

On the eighth hike of Christmas, the Land Trust showed to me eight evergreen cedars, seven otters swimming, six Cedar Waxwing, five bushy squirrels, four calling birds, three furry foxes, two mother does, and a porcupine in  a pear tree.

 

On the ninth hike of Christmas, the Land Trust showed to me nine snowy owls, eight evergreen cedars, seven otters swimming, six Cedar Waxwing, five bushy squirrels, four calling birds, three furry foxes, two mother does, and a porcupine in  a pear tree.

 

On the tenth hike of Christmas, the Land Trust showed to me ten fisher tracts, nine snowy owls, eight evergreen cedars, seven otters swimming, six Cedar Waxwing, five bushy squirrels, four calling birds, three furry foxes, two mother does, and a porcupine in  a pear tree.

 

On the eleventh hike of Christmas, the Land Trust showed to me eleven soaring eagles, ten fisher tracts, nine snowy owls, eight evergreen cedars, seven otters swimming, six Cedar Waxwing, five bushy squirrels, four calling birds, three furry foxes, two mother does, and a porcupine in  a pear tree.

 

On the twelfth hike of Christmas, the Land Trust showed to me twelve towering hemlocks, eleven soaring eagles, ten fisher tracts, nine snowy owls, eight evergreen cedars, seven otters swimming, six Cedar Waxwing, five bushy squirrels, four calling birds, three furry foxes, two mother does, and a porcupine in  a pear tree.
