Volunteer with the WI Bumble Bee Brigade!
Help protect Wisconsin’s native bumble bees by becoming a community scientist with the Wisconsin Bumble Bee Brigade! The Bumble Bee Brigade (B3) is coordinated by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and partners with volunteers from the public to conduct long-term monitoring of the state’s native bumble bees. Volunteers collect data by taking photos of the bumble bee species they spot within a specified survey area. You can learn more about B3 by visiting the website: https://wiatri.net/inventory/BBB/aboutUs/.
Door County Land Trust is seeking out volunteers to conduct surveys on DCLT managed properties once a week starting at the end of July and continuing through the end of August.
If you are interested in conducting bumble bee surveys with the Door County Land Trust, please email Community Conservation Coordinator, Paige Witek, at [email protected] for more information.
Volunteer today and be part of the buzz for conservation!
