Our expanding organization is in need of qualified individuals to fulfill the duties of a Land Program Manager and a Community Conservation Coordinator.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Land Program Manager is charged with leading the planning, coordination, management, and execution of all facets of DCLT’s land program. General duties include assisting in the identification of and overseeing the execution of land purchases, conservation easements, and land donations. The Land Program Manager possesses genuine enthusiasm for land preservation and has enhanced knowledge and experience with real estate transactions and a proficiency in real estate, tax, and conservation law.  This position requires a working knowledge of conservation biology (conservation strategy) and of the basic tenants of land restoration and management.

The Community Conservation Coordinator reports to the Land Stewardship director and will assist with building and implementing a land stewardship, research, and conservation education program that is supported by a robust volunteer network.  Requirements for the position include volunteer management experience and a strong natural resources background. This is a unique opportunity to engage the Door County community in meaningful natural resource stewardship, environmental education, and ecological research while helping achieve our mission of protecting our land and water.
