Itching to get your hands dirty and really connect with the land? Discover the rewarding feel of restoration work in the field! Join the upcoming work party and help with trail enhancements. The day will include exploring Kangaroo Lake Nature Preserve through the lens of trail stewardship and preserve maintenance. People should dress for the weather and walking on uneven terrain (at least sturdy shoes and long pants). The Land Trust will bring all necessary supplies, equipment, and of course our finest granola bars. Hope to see you there!

Time: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm*
* Please arrive on time. Work crews meet at the trailhead area, but may be difficult to locate after work had begun.
What to wear: Dress in layers for a variety of weather possibilities. Long sleeves and long pants are recommended.
What to bring: Water bottle, sunscreen, snacks, insect repellent. You may bring work gloves, goggles, kneepads or other personal gear if desired.
